About Malika
I am a classical dancer and software engineer with 12+ years of training and professional performance experience in Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam, and Kuchipudi.
My dance journey began at a young age and has taken me across prestigious stages, deepening my connection to these ancient art forms. As a software engineer, I bring structured, logical thinking to my teaching — breaking down complex movements into clear, simple steps that any student can follow.
My classes are open to all levels, taught with patience, authenticity, and genuine passion for Indian classical dance.

Most dance teachers teach you what to do. I teach you why. As a software engineer and 12-year classical dancer, I break down complex movements into simple, logical steps — so your body understands the dance, not just memorizes it.
My classes are open to everyone — complete beginners to experienced dancers looking to refine their technique. No prior dance experience is needed.
We start from the very foundation — basic adavus — building your posture, footwork, rhythm, and coordination step by step. Every student progresses at their own pace, with a clear structured curriculum that takes you from your very first adavu all the way to full compositions.
Whether you are picking up classical dance for the first time or returning to deepen your practice, you will find a patient, structured, and authentic learning environment here.
