About Shivani
I learnt Bharatnatyam dancing since age 6 and have been dancing for 15 years. I have experience teaching young maestros aged 6-15 and generally engage in a personal, fun and relaxed way of teaching this age-old art form. I follow the "Nritya Bharti Kala Kendra" style- starting with basic lessons on footsteps, and depending on individual ability, quickly progress to the more complex dance lessons that can be performed.

Bharatnatyam is a classical form of dancing, predominantly found in the Southern parts of India. It involves storytelling by a combination of steps-based choreography and intricate expressions. Stories are generally adopted from old Indian mythology.
I learnt Bharatnatyam dancing since age 6 and have been dancing for 15 years. I have experience teaching young maestros aged 6-15 and generally engage in a personal, fun and relaxed way of teaching this age-old art form.
