About Marcus
My name is Marcus Kuhn, and I’m currently a student at Moody Bible Institute studying theology and education. In high school, I developed a strong interest in history and teaching, which led me to take several advanced placement courses including AP U.S. History, AP U.S. Government, AP World History, AP Microeconomics, AP Literature, AP Language, and AP Statistics. These classes challenged me to think critically, understand different perspectives, and connect historical ideas to the world we live in today—all skills I hope to pass on to the students I tutor. During high school, I served as President of the National Honor Society, a student council officer, and a three-time FFA team officer. Those roles helped me grow as a leader, communicator, and mentor. I also ran track and cross country, where I learned the importance of discipline and perseverance—qualities I bring into both my academics and my teaching. Now in college, I volunteer once a week at a local elementary school, tutoring for three hours each session. I love helping younger students understand new ideas and gain confidence in their learning. My goal is to become a head pastor of a church one day to spread God's word.

I am here to give lessons to those in elementary, middle, and high school. As well as to adults looking to learn more about the Bible. My lessons plans are typically based individually with what each student needs. All lessons focus on understanding and application of a topic. I am different from other tutors with being younger myself. I know how kids learn and I know how to apply it to life as a college student in this generation.
