About Phil
I am a British native and have been in education for about 17 years. I started off as a football coach and then lived in China for 10 years, I am currently in Vietnam and have been here for four years! I am also a Muay Thai coach and enjoy relaxing at the beach and baking cakes.

Learning Chinese can feel intimidating for English speakers, but it doesn't have to be. Because I grew up speaking English, I understand exactly how your brain processes language, where you will get stuck, and how to fix it. My online lessons focus on Active Speaking (70%) and Teacher Input (30%). No Boring Memorisation: We learn through pattern-building, much like using LEGO blocks.
