About Farah

Hello! I’m Farah, a bilingual graduate with a degree in International Business Administration and a specialization in Finance. I completed all of my high school studies in French and spent time growing up in Montreal, which gave me a deep connection to both the language and Francophone culture. I also studied for a full year at Université Paris Dauphine, further strengthening my fluency and understanding of French in both academic and everyday settings. I have several years of experience tutoring and leading French conversation groups, helping students at all levels improve their language skills in a relaxed and supportive environment. I understand the challenges and rewards of becoming truly fluent and am passionate about making French feel approachable and practical, whether you're learning for school, travel, work, or personal growth. I’m committed to helping each student gain confidence and reach their full potential. I take pride in being patient, adaptable, and attentive to individual needs, ensuring every lesson is engaging and focused on real progress.

About the lesson

As a tutor, my approach is practical, adaptable, and student-centered. I focus on building real-world communication skills, helping students improve their grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and cultural understanding through dynamic, conversation-based lessons. My teaching methodology blends structured learning with informal practice, encouraging students to feel confident speaking from day one.

A typical lesson includes warm-up discussions, targeted grammar or vocabulary exercises, and interactive speaking activities based on topics relevant to the student’s goals—whether that’s travel, academics, or business. I tailor each session to the student’s specific needs and level, regularly assessing progress and adjusting the focus to strengthen weak areas and develop overall fluency.

What sets me apart is my ability to make lessons both effective and enjoyable. Drawing on my own experience leading Café Conversation groups, I create a relaxed, encouraging environment that helps students overcome hesitation and build lasting confidence in their French skills.

These lessons are ideal for beginners, intermediate learners, and advanced students alike, whether you’re in high school, university, or pursuing personal enrichment. Each course is fully customized to support your individual objectives—whether preparing for an exam, improving conversational ability, or mastering formal writing.

Let me help you take your French to the next level with lessons designed around you.
