About Emerson
I have a degree in music from the Faculdade de Artes Alcântara Machado and have a Cambridge Advanced English Certificate (CAE). I have been working since I was 17 years old professionally as a teacher, teaching in music schools and colleges, and as a musician, playing in orchestras and symphonic groups, as well as in original music bands.

The classes will serve two basic purposes: teaching how to play the instrument and assisting in English language communication and vocabulary. They are aimed at anyone interested in learning a new instrument and developing their English vocabulary (there is no level restriction in either case).
I usually work with some familiar drum methods in addition to some of my own, always with the aim of developing technique, coordination and musical understanding.
*It is not necessary to own the instrument!! A pair of drumsticks and a place to drum (like a pillow) are more than enough
