I am a passionate educator wanting to empower students to become their best selves. In this country, that happens first with a strong hold of the English language. As an immigrant, I understand firsthand the experience of learning English and I am confident in my ability to work with students and support them so they become fluent!

Learning is a community activity and students are co-creators of what happens in a classroom setting. I seek to educate and empower students who are learning English by meeting them where they are at and building their confidence to speak a different language.
Because I am a Native Spanish speaker, I remove barriers immediately to get to the root of issues and work from there.
