About Maria
My name is Maria, I am a professional Actor and a bilingual French/English speaker, currently based in London. I was born in Spain and grew up in France, with half my family still living in France. I moved to the UK during my teen years and during my time in the UK studied, GCSE, A-level and Level 8 French (Hons). Due to my multiple moves I understand how tough learning a new language can be and how important understanding day to day conversation can be when learning a new language. I hope to offer a judgement free, safe and easy space to practise your French, no matter your level.

In these lessons we will practise French conversational skills. Through this practice we can also work towards improving your accent. In our initial session we can establish what we are working at and go over what topics you would like to talk about and what would be most helpful to practise. These classes are open to beginners as well as those with a foundation level French. These sessions will be focused towards practical and conversational French rather than following a syllabus/working on written skills needed in exams. These sessions would also be ideal for anyone who feels nervous and intimidated going into real life French speaking situations and is looking to get more comfortable.
