About Philippe
I am a third-year law student at McGill University with lots of experience in historical and legal research and writing. I am completing my degree in both French and English, and play rugby on the side for fun.
I have spent a lot of my undergraduate degree as a copy editor for political academic journals and do lots of writing as well. Since 2018, I've published several history essays including an honour's thesis on the intersection of race and capitalism throughout the history of the NBA and many other articles for my university newspaper.
I am currently working on publishing another essay, this time based on my time practicing international human rights abroad at an NGO in West Africa.

Focusing on curriculum-adjacent lesson plans, I would work with the student's existing base of knowledge to achieve their specific goals.
I firmly believe in adjusting every lesson to the student while also covering important basic educational elements. Anything based in the humanities would be accompanied with research and writing techniques to build confidence and familiarity.
Ex: while working on history, we would focus on argument structure to best get points across, figuring out intended audiences, and provide strong writing frameworks.
These lessons are oriented to anyone ranging from middle school to undergraduate degrees.
