About Kelvin
I'm a Hong Kong-born Canadian student currently pursuing my Master's degree in Teaching English to Young Learners at the University of Warsaw. I'm looking for a part-time teaching position in Warsaw, Poland. A little about my professional background: I completed my Bachelor's degree in English and a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) Certificate in Canada before moving to Poland. I have taught English in Canada, Japan, Brazil, Poland, and the Czech Republic as a practicum student and English-speaking volunteer. I also completed a one-year assistant language teacher (ALT) contract in Japan from 2025 to 2026. I have worked with students from a wide range of cultural backgrounds and age groups, ranging from elementary school students to adult learners.

I'm a bilingual teacher of English and Cantonese. Growing up in Hong Kong, I have mastered the Cantonese language, which is believed to be one of the hardest languages in the world. Later, I immigrated to Canada, where I finished my Bachelor's degree in English and a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certificate at York University. After my studies, I worked in a junior high school in Japan for as an ALT (Assistant Language Teacher) for one year. Currently, I am completing my graduate studies in Teaching English to Young Learners at University of Warsaw in Poland. I have taught English and Cantonese to learners of different age groups including elementary school students and adults in many international settings. I have also volunteered and worked as an English tutor in both Europe and Japan, and my professional experience has helped me gain essential international insights into language teaching.
