About Sophie
My desire to become a tutor stems from a deep-seated passion for science. The opportunity to play a role in shaping the next generation of scientists genuinely excites me. I cannot wait to share my knowledge, enthusiasm and passion for the subject with younger minds, hopefully igniting a spark curiosity in younger scientists, like my teachers did for me.

I believe in learning in a way that encourages young minds to ask why. Anyone can memorise a specification for an examination, however it is only the highest achievers who understand the processes behind each module. My lessons can be modified in how they are taught, when they are taught and how long they are taught for. Everyone has a recipe for the perfect learning environment, I believe we can discover yours to get you the grades you deserve. I have 10 GCSEs varying from Spanish to Biology, I also have 3 A level qualifications in Chemistry, Biology and Sociology. I have written an outstanding extended project that explored the methodology of dreaming. These qualifications have enabled me to continue my love of science at top University. I would prefer to focus my tutoring at a secondary school level as I have had more experience tutoring at that age.
