About Octavio
I am currently studying Biology at the Autonomous University of Madrid. I achieved the maximum score in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (45/45 points), and I obtained an average of 9.94 in the Spanish Baccalaureate (I studied both simultaneously at a public highschool). Having finished my secondary education, I went to study abroad at Berkeley City College, California, and at the end of the academic year I decided to stay in Madrid. I have lived in the United States, and I have a Cambridge English C1 certificate with a Proficiency level. Regarding my teaching experience, for a year I offered free weekly school support in a project at my highschool, and for two years I have taught students inrisk of exclusion at the Chamberí Casa de Cultura.

I tailor my methodology to the needs of my students:
- For the International Baccalaureate Diploma, I focus, on the one hand, on preparing for the May exams (using exam models and past papers), and on the other hand, on the crafting of the internal assessment and the extended essay. I teach Physics SL, Chemistry SL, Mathematics HL, Spanish HL, Philosophy SL and English HL.
- For the Spanish Baccalaureate, I work mainly on the Selectividad for the Technological Baccalaureate, which itself includes the work that is done during the prior 2 years.
- For ESO I work more freely, since there is no test at the end of the programme, and I focus on the specific needs of the student.
