About Julia
I am currently a biology student at a University. I accomplished a high understanding of mathematics starting in early elementary. I started teaching other students starting in 3rd grade. In high school I received awards for academic excellence and mathematics. I have 1 year of experience as a private tutor in all subjects at the elementary level. Beyond my academic skills I enjoy playing the violin and piano, looking at pictures of adorable animals, and watching medical shows.

My tutoring is directed towards elementary level students. I enjoy helping students build a strong foundation in the field of mathematics. I believe in the philosophy of learning through multiple methods and that practice makes perfect. What sets me apart from many tutors is that I just graduated high school and am up to date with many of the newer teaching methods.
