About Ogbemudia
Hi, I’m Mudia. I’m a GCSE and A-level Maths and Science tutor, and I teach because I know how it feels when a topic doesn’t make sense — and how amazing it feels when it finally clicks. I love helping students reach that moment of understanding. I’m also a passionate sportsman, and sport has taught me a lot about discipline, consistency, and learning from mistakes — the same skills that really help in Maths and Science. My lessons are supportive, clear, and tailored to help you build both confidence and ability. I’m really looking forward to working with you and supporting you on your learning journey.

When I plan my tutoring sessions, I like to start with clear goals and a quick recap of what we covered last time. This helps me see what the student remembers and where they might still be unsure. From there, I structure the lesson around clear explanations, guided examples, and plenty of practice, adjusting the pace depending on how confident the student feels. Before each session, I take time to review their progress, school syllabus, and any recent work so I can prepare tailored resources that match their needs. I always try to make lessons engaging and relatable, connecting topics to real-world examples or the student’s own interests whenever possible. To help students reach their goals, I focus on building both understanding and confidence. I give regular feedback, celebrate small wins, and encourage them to reflect on how far they’ve come. I measure progress through short quizzes, past-paper questions, and discussions, so students can see their improvement too. Most importantly, I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I believe learning happens best when students feel encouraged, valued, and genuinely interested in what they’re doing.
