I am a biomedical scientist who completed my PhD in Biomedical Engineering from McGill University. I am very passionate about learning and teaching. I like to see my student grow and achieve their goals. I am very eager to join and guide you in your learning journey and provide as much feedback and help as possible!

* Teaching Methodology: I like turning lessons into dialogues where students are actively participating in discussions, instead of passively listening to lecture. I also like to encourage them to take part in active learning practices such as asking questions and taking notes. I try to include colors and visuals. I also like to do a lot of problem based learning.
*Typical Lesson Plan: All lessons are given ONLINE. Get feedback from students about where they reached in the curriculum covered at school. Answer any questions or concerns, help with assignments. Give a brief reminder of what we did previously. Give an overview of lesson plan. Deliver lesson, visual materials and problem solve. Give a brief review for what we covered and how it relates to overall objectives. Give students ways to contact me after lessons if help is needed before next lesson.
* I give all my lessons ONLINE. This allows student flexibility in choosing the place to study at, ensures safety and cuts lost time and money in transport.
I have taught first year chemistry laboratory sections to undergraduate engineering students, and biomedical engineering to graduate students.
I have also taught first year university chemistry as a private tutor. This experience allows me to prepare students best for their freshman years at University.
I have over 2 years of experience teaching Grade 10-12 Chemistry online to Canadian and US students.
I am very passionate about both teaching and learning, and love to see students grow both in confidence and abilities.
