About Methul

Hi all,
My name is Methul and I'm looking to tutor senior high school students (Grade 11-12) both face-to-face and online. I graduated Brisbane State High School in 2023 with an ATAR of 99.75. My subjects and raw scores were Chemistry (99/100), Physics (99/100), Specialist (98/100), Methods (98/100), Japanese (97/100), and General English (97/100). I achieved 100% internals for Specialist, Methods, Chemistry, and Physics, and scored 96%+ on all my externals.
I am an experienced tutor with 4 years of experience as a casual tutor outside of school (started in Y10) and 150+ hours of volunteer tutoring during high school for students of all ages and abilities.
I am very proud of my students who’ve gone on to achieve great things like dux of subject and dux of school. Many of my students have entered highly competitive courses like medicine and engineering.

Pricing and availability:
Available for online tutoring through Zoom ($55/hr) and face-to-face tutoring ($60/hr) at nearby libraries or common places. I currently live in Forest Lake and am available to travel to students' homes free of charge (in neighbouring suburbs). I am available Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoon.
