About Sandra
Laughter fills the room during our practice sessions. Music should be fun. I offer a free trial session to assess your starting level and discuss your aspirations. We work on your chosen songs immediately.
I use my BMus degree knowledge to explain music theory simply. My 11 years of playing mean I understand your frustrations.
We will fix your technique quickly. I ensure we cover blues progressions with care. You will master new scales every week.
My instruction style keeps things moving at a steady pace. You will find the entire process of learning your instrument highly enjoyable.

Absolute beginners often think they need natural talent to start playing, but the truth is that technique is simply a set of manageable physical habits. Working with 335 students has taught me that the right foundation makes every musical style accessible.
My 11 years of experience allow me to break down complex theory into small steps for kids and adults. I hold a BMus Vocal Performance degree, which informs how I teach phrasing and dynamics on the fretboard.
I regularly help grade exam candidates prepare for their assessments with a focus on scales and modes. My sessions also cover electric technique, tuning and maintenance, and songwriting to keep your practice interesting. I maintain a clear path for every student to reach their musical goal.
