About Anahiz
I used to tutor in high school and since graduating, have been working in an academic setting for 7 years now. I always try to create a safe and welcoming environment for students to ask me questions about anything, even if it’s a bit off topic. Because at the end of the day, I want the experience to be enjoyable for us both and to leave a positive influence on everyone so that they may get closer to becoming the best version of themselves.

I love helping people and have worked in a customer service role for almost 10 years now. I have two younger siblings who are currently 12 and 18, and I have always enjoyed helping them with their homework - not just because they're my siblings, but because I am able to show them that learning can be fun! (Please see the attached YouTube video that I made for a class while I was in undergraduate school for reference.) It’s so rewarding and wonderful to see someone come to an epiphany when they’ve been struggling with something. I hope I get to experience that with you!

Details
I prefer to meet in a public setting such as a public library, park, or cafe. The library is my top choice for obvious reasons. I always try my best to provide free resources to my students, focusing primarily on books that can be easily checked out of the library or providing links to essays online. I am also able to print copies if you'd prefer for no extra charge! I am also available to host writing workshops for groups as well!
