About Jack
I’m an 18-year-old student who has just completed my A-Levels in Business (A*), English Literature, and Politics. I’ve always enjoyed helping others understand difficult topics, and over the past year, I’ve supported classmates with revision — which made me realise how much I enjoy helping others grow in confidence. I’ve been offered two degree apprenticeships in the defence sector, and will be beginning my study of law at University of Nottingham in September. I am happy to offer students support with interview prep, if they are interested in a degree apprenticeship. I’m friendly, organised, and a clear explainer — and I know what it’s like to feel stuck or overwhelmed in the lead-up to exams. My goal is to make students feel more confident with every session, breaking topics down into simple steps and helping them understand what examiners really want. Whether you're looking to improve your grades, boost your confidence, or just need someone to help explain things in a way that makes sense — I’d love to help.

My teaching style is friendly, structured, and fully tailored to each student’s needs. I start by identifying your strengths and areas you'd like to improve, and then build personalised lessons that focus on exam success and genuine understanding. I make sure every concept is explained clearly using real-world examples, diagrams, and past paper questions. Whether you struggle with applying theory or remembering content, I adapt the way I teach to help things “click.” Because I’ve recently completed A-Level Business with an A*, I know what examiners expect and how to approach long-answer questions, case studies, and tricky multiple-choice questions with confidence. I also focus on building confidence — helping students feel less overwhelmed and more in control of their progress. My goal is not just to improve your grades, but to help you enjoy the subject and feel prepared going into your exams. My lessons are typically 60 minutes long, but I can be flexible with what works for you. My lessons are for GCSE and A-Level students alike, covering all exam boards.
