About Phillip
Hi, my name is Phillip, and I’m originally from Northern Germany. I’m 41 years old and hold a university degree. I’ve been living in beautiful Malta for the past three years, and over time I’ve developed a real passion for teaching German.
I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and helping them feel more confident and comfortable using German in everyday life. For me, learning a language should be practical, enjoyable, and tailored to the person behind the language.

During a free introductory conversation, I’ll get to know you and find out what your interests are. We’ll use a topic that genuinely interests you as the starting point for your German learning journey.
I always adapt my teaching approach to the individual personality, learning style, and needs of each student. From there, we’ll build your vocabulary, work through the many rules of German grammar, and gradually develop your confidence in using the language.
Finally, we’ll round everything off with pronunciation training to help you sound more natural and confident when speaking German.
