About Oscar
Born in Caracas, Venezuela, OI discovered his calling in 1984 at just 12 years old, when he first touched a pair of turntables and never looked back. In 1990, driven by an unstoppable passion for sound, he relocated to Miami, where he deepened his musical roots by learning percussion and performing live with a local band. With over four decades behind the decks, his sound has evolved into a rich blend of Organic House, Deep House, Melodic House, Progressive House, and Melodic Trance — anchored by his signature style, Electronic Cumbia House, a genre-defying fusion that bridges his Latin roots with the global electronic music scene. Since 2015, he has channeled that same energy into music production, weaving a lifetime of rhythm, culture, and instinct into every track he creates.
