About Gustavo
I am originally from São Paulo, Brasil, and moved to England to obtain my degree in jazz saxophone performance at Leeds Conservatoire in 2019. Since then, I finished my master's at the conservatoire and have been playing for several bands in the UK. Some of them include Orchestra Mambo International, Jinje and The Brief Utopia, Harry Moon and The Cardboard Rocket and more. Also, lead an 11-piece Brazilian music ensemble called Gustavo Andrade and The Brasukas. Alongside, I have been teaching people who want to either start or get better at percussion (especially Brazilian percussion) and saxophone, through workshops in conjunction with the Leeds City Council, or one-on-one private lessons.
