About Laísa
Hi! I’m Laísa, a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker living in Canada with a degree in Languages and Literature.
Living abroad has given me a new perspective on language and communication, and I understand how challenging — and rewarding — learning a new language can be.
I’m patient, supportive and committed to creating a comfortable environment where students can ask questions, practice without pressure and build confidence step by step. I’m also happy to share Brazilian culture, everyday expressions and the way Portuguese is naturally spoken in Brazil.

My lessons are designed for beginners who want to learn Brazilian Portuguese in a clear, practical and supportive way.
We will work on vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar and conversation through everyday situations, helping you understand how Portuguese is actually used in Brazil.
As a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker with a degree in Languages and Literature, I can also help you understand not only the language, but expressions, pronunciation and cultural aspects of Brazilian Portuguese.
Lessons will be adapted to your pace, goals and interests, with plenty of opportunities to practice speaking and build confidence from the beginning.
