About Thamyris
Hello All! I am brazilian and I teach Portuguese for foreigners in Brazil, I also give online lessons as well.
Rio is a very beautiful and also touristic city. My students are here for many different reasons : Work, Vacation, Study etc.
I always try to make my lessons the most productive that I can, because I believe that learning a new language should be fun and rewarding!

I base my classes on the Communicative Approach method,where learners can talk about personal experiences, and teachers teach topics outside of the realm of traditional grammar, in order to promote language skills in all types of situations. This method is also effective to encourage learners to incorporate their personal experiences into their language learning environment, and to focus on the learning experience in addition to the learning of the target language.
