About Juliana
Through topics relevant to each student, we structure conversation topics and continue the class dynamically. The applied philosophy is that the best way to acquire knowledge of languages is cultural immersion, organic and natural progression. So instead of memorizing and obvious exercises, we will work with interesting subjects, in a flexible way, for the specific reality of each student's needs and preferences. I am a university student, and an official translator of family dinners where half do not speak Portuguese and the other half do not speak English, ha! Jokes aside, I am fluent in English and have experience abroad, my family being from the United States. My classes are ideal for those looking to improve conversation, develop pronunciation, slang and colloquial terms from the USA. The idea is to explore in a relaxed way subjects of interest (be it cooking, sports, art, series) of the student using English, promoting learning in an organic way.
