About Gena
I am an experienced violin instructor with 12+ years of tutoring experience teaching school students, college students, and working professionals. My passion for music and education motivates me to help students achieve their full potential while enjoying the learning process.
My teaching philosophy is centered on making music education enjoyable and meaningful. I believe that each student deserves individual attention and support. Therefore, I adapt my teaching methods according to the student's level, interests, and objectives.
Over the years, I have guided many students in improving their violin skills and developing confidence in performances. One of my notable achievements has been helping beginners become independent and expressive musicians through steady practice and encouragement.
I aim to create lessons that are both productive and enjoyable while fostering a lasting appreciation for music.

My teaching methodology is based on compassion and effective communication. I believe that students achieve better results when they learn in a positive and supportive environment. I strive to make every lesson engaging, encouraging, and suitable for each student's level.
For violin students, I focus on strong fundamentals, including posture, bow control, finger placement, rhythm, and note reading. I teach gradually and ensure students fully understand each lesson before moving forward.
I provide regular feedback and encourage students to develop healthy practice habits. Through patience and support, I help students gain confidence and maintain their motivation.
Besides violin, I teach related music subjects such as music theory, ear training, and sight reading. These additional subjects help students become more complete musicians.
My goal is to inspire students to continue learning and enjoy music throughout their lives.
