About Vandana
I am a CELTA certified English teacher and have been a Business Communications trainer and an IELTS coach and teacher trainer for 8 years. I have worked with the British Council in Mumbai and with ILAC (Inernational Language Academy of Canada) where I have coached several students for the Academic and the General testing IELTS exams. I have also worked with Pathways program and helped students in writing APA style research essays. Understanding the strengths and areas of develpoment of my students is an aspect I focuss on throughout my coaching and also provide personalized feedback especially for Writing and Speaking. With respect to the IELTS exam, I use different strategies to get the students become confident in understanding the range of grammar, vocabulary and use ofdifferent sentences especialy in writing essays and short reports.
In addition because of my experience in working with the British Council (who are responsible for creating the IELTS exam paper), I share a lot of tips and techniques with my students to help them perform better.
Last but not least, I am very passionate about coaching my students and make sure they achieve their desired scores.
