About James
I have been teaching English online for the past four years and previously worked in schools across Canada, England, and the Netherlands.
I hold a degree in Primary Education Studies, with a specialisation in English as an Additional Language. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with students of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities, helping them become more fluent and confident in English.
I am passionate about the English language and its many complexities, and through engaging conversation and carefully structured resources, I will support you in reaching your English goals.

The first lesson will be an opportunity for us to get to know one another. I will learn about your goals, explain the best course of action, and introduce you to some of the resources I rely on—tools that have delivered proven results.
Lessons will combine informal conversation with Business English, tailored specifically to your profession. I will also do my utmost to identify and address your weaknesses in order to help you improve your fluency and confidence in English.
During lessons, you can expect a variety of activities including speaking practice, vocabulary building, listening exercises, and personalised feedback to support your progress every step of the way.
