About Barry

I have been playing in bands and making specialist music radio shows for longer than I care to remember. I have been listening to and digesting music on the fringes of popular culture for just as long. I like to think that my teaching style is an extension of my radio shows as I love music and want to share my love of it with everyone.

About the lesson

Everything you ever wanted to know about the history of popular music but were afraid to ask. Who played with who? Who were they influenced by. How did recording technology and the culture of the times effect the music that artists made. All these questions and more. In clear understandable, digestible chunks.
