About Lola
I am a student at Brown University studying Business Economics and International and Public Affairs, driven by a desire to connect economic systems with meaningful work in the public sector. I’m especially interested in how global markets and policies shape people’s lives in a rapidly changing world.
Outside the classroom, I’m drawn to both structure and creativity. I enjoy hiking, painting, and practicing calligraphy, often writing letters by hand. I love reading, especially romance novels, and translating Latin, with a particular appreciation for Catullus.
I come from a large, diverse family and, as a middle child, I’ve learned how to listen, adapt, and connect with different perspectives. I’m naturally curious and enjoy learning about others, sharing my own experiences, and exploring the world through its languages, systems, and art forms.
