About Isaac
I am a BSc Mathematics and Economics student at Durham University who plays rugby for the Wasps Rugby Senior Academy. I have always enjoyed coaching/teaching secondary school students I found when I was younger I responded well to teaching from older pupils and young staff members, in sporting and academic environments, who were approachable and relatable.
I have been tutoring my younger brother as he approaches his GCSEs in 2022. I also helped tutor boys and girls at school with A Level Maths and Economics as well as GCSE Maths.

As a computer literate young man, I create worksheets and powerpoints to assist with the teaching of material. I have found that interactive teaching yields some of the best results, so like to make my lessons active and engaging for the student(s). Structuring of lessons will be based around topic knowledge and the depth of said topic; certain areas within Maths and Economics are multifaceted so will require more than one lesson- in this case I would create a multi-lesson plan to build the students knowledge so all areas of a broad topic are understood.
I offer captivating tutoring to ensure students remain interested and yield the best possible results from all sessions! I aim to make learning an enjoyable experience to inspire interest and hard work from students.
I am happy to offer lessons ranging from 30 minutes to 1 hour as sessions to teach new content, solidly understanding, correct any possible misconceptions and work on exam technique!
