About Leslie
I am a BSN with Honors new graduate nurse with preceptorship experience at a Level 1 Trauma center Cardiac ICU.
I have presented my nursing research on Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) in critical care environments as well as my student nurse-led rural hypertension study at two university poster conferences, and have experience tutoring nursing students.
I am a member of Sigma Theta Tau, International Honor Society and a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN).

- A typical lesson plan looks like: a quick assessment to identify areas of opportunity (always assess first, right?) followed by a content discussion of topics, exploration of clinical application and of course any applicable mnemonics to help codify the material. Finally, a quick cumulative review to recap what was studied

Leslie is an amazing Adult Health/Med-Surge/Patho/Pharm tutor. She is a graduating senior in the program and I am a junior who was failing Adult Health all semester. Greatly worried about my finals, Leslie was able to help me succeed by accommodating to my class/work schedule along with meeting in person and virtually with me. She explains topics in great detail with textbook reference. She provided study materials and pre-assessments to gauge my knowledge.
