About Nigel
I love teaching, pure and simple. I started out as an English language teacher and travelled the world for years. I developed an interest in how teams function and how organisations work so I did an MBA to take this further. After a couple of management positions I knew my preference was education so I moved into teaching business in a variety of contexts, mostly university.
All the while I have been playing music and running music sessions, both the business side and the music keep me grounded in the real world.
I believe my students respect my dedication and real-world focus, I make sure everything I teach is relevant to the course you're on and relevant to your future generally.

I have a personalised student-centred approach, to work with you to achieve your goals. Preparation is key so whatever your purpose and path I will tailor my efforts to the objectives / qualification you are aiming for.
I am supportive and encouraging and focused on bringing together your own needs, your own capabilities, your own targets and the requirements of the course you are on.
The materials will be similarly tailored and will focus exactly on what the course requires, and any examples will be up-to-date real-world ones, and/or classic cases depending on the context.
Length of class is usually 50 minutes but variations are easily arranged.
I have worked mostly at university level (undergrad and masters) but with a lot of experience with younger students (secondary age, A level and foundation). I worked in several other countries for nearly 15 years (South America, Europe, Middle East, Asia).
