About Lisa
Greeting & Salutations!
I am a Business English Teacher with over three years of experience teaching in South Korea, Taiwan, and online to students located all over the world. I have experience teaching individuals as well as group classes and large scale workshops. Typically, my students work for multinational companies (Yahoo!, Mercedes Benz, Waze) and we work on lessons directly applicable to their work (i.e., email writing, giving presentations) or work more generally on their socialization skills.
I also have experience training students for TOEFL and IELTS exams.

My teaching methodology is based around building a congenial rapport with my students. Rather than adhering to a traditional teacher-student relationship, I believe that we are all peers. This allows the students to feel comfortable asking me any question, related to business or otherwise. It also allows me to push my students to do their best without adopting a critical to judgmental tone.
