About Dorothy
I am passionate about education and development. With diverse experience in HR, tech sales, product marketing, and PR, I have been able to grow my skills in strategic thinking, communication, people relations, and teaching.
I lead two projects currently on education and development - AB STEM Club - A weekly class for students aged 8-14 where they get to explore interests in Art, Business, and STEM in a different and more practical way.
Project Elevate- a community-centered project teaching ways to elevate in your environment ranging from career to business. I share job search tips, resume writing tips, interview strategies, and career/business growth strategies.

Adequate knowledge in maths with the skills needed for students to adapt to learning and understanding complex situations is key and of major concern to me as a tutor.
My past students have been able to develop a likeness towards maths and follow through to college.
Wards should expect the best, simple broken down method of learning from me.

• Prepared students for the WASSCE exams in Biology, Accounting, Commerce and Computer Studies.
• Tutored Grade 5 students in Math and saw a 70% improvement in grades and concentration through the use of regular checking, projects and reward system.
• Assisted my students in learning subjects like French, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry that weren’t my field through the use of apps and sites like Duolingo, Pinterest, Brilliant, Elevate, Khan Academy and Mathletics.
• My past students have excelled academically and shown a high rate of improvement.
