My teaching method is based on real practice, the theory is difficult to comprehend when taught without context. Recap will always start a session, followed by points of weakness and then applied to real-world scenarios. Anyone studying below a BA level of Business Studies will be able to grow and develop through this style of teaching.
I am a Business Management Student and I am working within the NEC Group with this role. I have just begun tutoring Business Students at a GCSE and College level with recent results showing distinction to distinction star. I'm a manager in a huge company and theory and practice have given me the knowledge to share with others.
I am an ambitious, dedicated student currently studying a Hospitality and Business Management degree. I have developed a great passion for this industry through working as a Bar Supervisor in a nightclub; involving the practical day to day serving of customers to managing and organising my team in a way which is always achieving the highest customer satisfaction, still ensuring employees needs are being met.

This role consisted of planning and running events. My responsibilities included running restaurants, bars, conferences and functions for groups up to 5,000 people. The jobs itself consisted of a variety of tasks to planning staff rota’s, maintaining and controlling stock levels and overseeing 75 members of staff. The leading aspect of the role taught me the importance of customer service, being able to be friendly and polite whilst dealing with several tasks at once e.g. complaints, staff issues, stock issues etc. Business Strategy and company development are the more office-based roles with profit and loss accounts, operational reports and progress monitoring being required at monthly staff meetings. Any variances, loss of budget control or marketing decisions fall upon my shoulders for my department and so having pressure to perform has allowed me to apply my theoretical degree to a real workplace environment.
January 2012-December 2015 Fever Bars Ltd, Redditch
Within this role my main responsibility is the direction of staff, managing them in a way that creates positive relationships adding value to the team whilst still ensuring procedures, rules and policies are followed for everyone’s safety. It involves constant time management and flexibility, being able to come in at extremely late notice or rearranging days off to help the company out. Forward thinking and problem solving are daily challenges which I face with the responsibility of solutions, refunds or refusals being left in my control with the trust to make the decision best for the customer and the nightclub.
