As a tutor, I aim to create an engaging, supportive environment where students feel encouraged to explore and express themselves. I emphasise student-centred learning and adapt my teaching methods to suit the unique needs, interests, and goals of each learner. I encourage active participation, error tolerance, and curiosity—because mistakes are proof that we're trying! Most of my lessons are 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the learner’s age, attention span, and schedule. I’m flexible with lesson timing to accommodate both children and busy adult learners. I have experience teaching Japanese to learners of various ages and levels, including young children and adult beginners. I teach learners of all levels, but I specialise in beginner and lower-intermediate Japanese.
