About Nadege
Bonjour! I'm Nadège, a native French speaker based in London, with a postgraduate qualification in Teaching French as a Foreign Language (DUEFLES) from the Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris.
Before becoming a language tutor, I spent twenty years working with words for a living: as a journalist for leading French national media (20 Minutes, Le Figaroscope, Prisma Media, Lagardère News) and as an editorial consultant for major French and international brands. I also taught professional writing for four years at university level in France, to master's and undergraduate students.
What does this mean for you? You won't just learn "textbook French". You'll learn the French that is actually spoken and written today – in meetings, in the press, in emails, in interviews, at dinner parties. I know how the language works at its most demanding levels, and I know how to break it down so that it becomes yours.

My core speciality is Professional and Business French: the language you need for meetings, presentations, emails, negotiations and job interviews. If you work with French clients or colleagues, or plan to, this is where I can help you most.
I also teach conversational French, to build your fluency, your pronunciation and the confidence to speak spontaneously. Written French is my particular strength: after twenty years as a journalist and editorial consultant, I give the kind of detailed, line-by-line feedback that transforms your writing. And if you enjoy going further, we can explore the culture and current affairs of today's France, so you can follow the conversations around you, at work or at dinner. For advanced learners, I also prepare you for the DALF C1.
Every lesson is tailored to you: your level, your goals, your interests. I create bespoke materials from authentic, current French content – press articles, podcasts, company press releases, LinkedIn posts, professional emails. Materials created for you, not generic exercises.
After every lesson, you receive a clear summary, personalised follow-up materials and, if you wish, homework with detailed corrections, so your progress continues between sessions.

The first 30-minute lesson is free: a conversation to get to know your goals, assess your level and design your personalised learning plan together.
Lesson packs (5 or 10 hours) come at a reduced hourly rate and include a structured progress plan, with clear milestones and a review of your progress along the way.
Lessons available Monday to Friday, including early morning and evening slots for working professionals.
