Hi, I am a friendly, dedicated drum teacher based in Milton Keynes - here to help you with all your drumming needs.

I teach drum kit, to ages 8+ of all abilities, tutoring in all styles and genres. I'm also available for music theory tuition. (Both drum kit and standard notation)

I have a 2:1 Music Degree from The University of Chichester specialising in Music Performance
I have completed the Trinity Guildhall Drum Kit Grades
I have Grade 6 Music Theory with The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music
- How much do you charge?
£15 for half an hour, or £25 for an hour. (Those who live outside the Milton Keynes area may be subject to an addtional travel fee)

- Where do you teach?
I teach in the Milton Keynes area. I am willing to travel further afield subject to extra travel costs depending on where you live. Please ask for details.
- When are you available?
I am available week days in the afternoon and evenings - please call if you have a specific day and time in mind.
I teach all year round including school holidays.
I am available for one-to-one lessons, practical workshops, drumming introductions, drum kit and music theory and advice on drum maintenance and set-up.

- What kind of experience do you have?
I have over 15 years or drumming experience. I teach a range of students from one-to lessons to group workshops, including school assemblies, covering complete beginners up to advanced drummers. As well as teaching I have lots of gigging and recording experience too.
- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
I hold an Enhanced DBS certificate

- Tell me about some of your current students.
I currently teach a range of students at various different levels - each with their own musical tastes that I try and cater for.
I approach the basics of technique and the fundamental elements of drumming and apply these to whatever style of music most suits the student.
I prepare students for exams.
My aim is always to help the student achieve their goals and in the process make learning the drums interesting and enjoyable!
