I am now a third-year Applied mathematics student in University of Nottingham, and I have achieved 75% and 81% during my first year and second year. I am most confident at Calculus and Linear Algebra and I can teach both online and at home. Personally, I think I am with great patience and I would love to help students.
I have been a private teacher ever since high school, though I stopped doing this during my second year at university (due to great amount of school work). I have taught 4 students in total and 3 of them were taught at home, the other one online. After my tutoring they had gained a better understanding of the module and we stayed in contact in case they have any new issues with their math study.
I am a third-year applied mathematics student at Nottingham University. During my academic years, I have enrolled in modules like Calculus and Linear Algebra, hence I am quite confident with my math teaching. Plus I have been a private math teacher for a sixth-grade girl last year and I think it worked quite well. Though in the long run, it is my aspiration to rise to a senior financial analyst position doing something to the domain of finance, I would love to seek opportunities in various fields. Meanwhile, as a Chinese graduate, I can speak English and Chinese fluently and thus capable of translating.
I can also use mathematical tools such as R and matlab to deal with practical problems.
I have got first-class until now with my first year and second year study at Nottingham University and I would like to seek for an opportunity for me to understand what is meant to be an applied mathematician in real life.
