About Carole
I have taught calligraphy in adult community education for over 15 years. I have experience of class teachingof up to 12 students, small groups and individual coaching. I community education I have taught calligraphy at various levels and students have succesfully achieved level 1 and level 2 with MOCN.
I have also taught art and crafts to primary age children on summer courses (drawing, painting, puppet making, paper mache, textile crafts etc).

I like my students to enjoy what they are doing and I encourage them to persevere whilst understanding any difficulties they may have. In Calligraphy I spend the first few weeks on one script learning the basics . After this we can then progress onto further scripts and other related skills.
My lessons for children in art and crafts are well-planned so that we work towards finished results but also have fun along the way.
