About Linus
I specialise in Music Theory, Production and Guitar with a focus on Rock/Pop and other contemporary genres of music.
After having spent the past 10 years studying, writing and performing music, I also realise that everyone learns in different ways, speeds and levels. Finding what style works for you, and what makes you enjoy the journey is what is the most important both to me, and for your own future development.
I have a background as a Graduate from BIMM London in 2018 with 1st Grade Honors from the BA Creative Musicianship. Before moving to the UK from Sweden, I was the Musical Director for several bands, guiding the development and direction of these bands, while also being part of the creative process. I also have experience with producing and writing two 3-track EP's both on analogue and digital formats.

Music is at its core as much of an expression as language itself. Through music, we can not only make people dance, but also make them feel sad, angry or confused!
My passion is teaching you this language so that you also can start expressing yourself. I help my students with finding their footing in an exciting exploration in the art of making sounds.Sometimes enjoyable sounds, sometimes less so, but always moving towards a form of expression!

I try to accommodate for everyones needs, but if I have to travel to an area where I currently do not have a lot of students, I will charge an extra fee to cover the cost of that journey. If the journey from my home is further than 45min, additional charges may apply. Any charges will only be for covering travel, and will never be an attempt at financial gain.
