I believe that learning should be engaging, practical, and tailored to each student’s needs. I focus on building confidence through a structured approach, balancing foundational skills with real-world application. My lessons are interactive, encouraging active participation, and I make sure to incorporate materials that resonate with the student’s personal interests, whether that’s through conversation practice, reading, or writing exercises.
I’ve been teaching English since I was 18, giving me over 14 years of experience. Alongside my main profession as a Bookkeeper, my side career as a tutor has allowed me to work with students of all levels, from beginners learning the basics to advanced learners looking to refine their language skills. This background has given me a unique perspective on the importance of clear communication and attention to detail.
Each lesson typically lasts around 60 minutes, which I find is an ideal length for maintaining focus and covering new material without overwhelming the student. However, I’m flexible with lesson duration and can adjust based on individual preferences and needs.
