About Sajidur
I am currently a Research Masters Student at York and I have recently graduated from the University of Cambridge specialising in Chemistry. I would like to keep studying as I am very much passionate about Chemistry as a discipline and I hope to inspire younger students too.

I like to keep lessons clear, relaxed and focused on what each student actually needs. I’ll first work out which topics they are confident with and which they find more difficult, then tailor the lesson around those areas. I focus on making sure students understand the ideas behind Chemistry rather than simply memorising facts. We’ll use worked examples and exam-style questions to put the knowledge into practice and improve exam technique. I’ll also encourage students to ask questions and think through problems themselves. My aim is to make Chemistry feel less intimidating while helping students become more confident and independent learners.
For those wishing to take on Chemistry at university, I can use my own experience to support students with writing personal statements, learning strategies for entry exams and preparing to impress the interviewers.

Saji taught helped me prepare for my ESAT entry exam, and he gave me examples of his strategies to approach each question and use my time wisely. His own experience was very important to me because his tips and tricks came in very helpful when I was getting stuck.
