About Weronika
Hi! Hej! Ciao!
I'm half Polish and half English, and I've lived in Italy for the past couple of years, so I really enjoy meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds. I also studied French and Spanish at school, completing both GCSE and A-level qualifications in both languages, which has given me a personal understanding of what it feels like to learn another language.
Outside of teaching, I love cooking and trying dishes from different cultures. I'm also a big fan of standing workouts (I much prefer staying off the mat!) and I enjoy a good dance session.
I'm always happy with a good cup of coffee, a walk by the beach, or a relaxed chat. And, admittedly, I sometimes enjoy watching Judge Judy...
I also think a good sense of humour goes a long way, and laughter is the best medicine!
I believe it's important to work hard and take your goals seriously, but it's just as important to enjoy your life along the way. I try to bring that attitude into my lessons too - I want you to work hard, make progress and achieve your goals, but also feel comfortable, have fun and enjoy using English.
Having said that, I look forward to meeting you! ️

I believe the best way to learn a language is by actively using it, rather than simply memorising rules. My teaching combines communicative language teaching, coaching and guided discovery. I like to guide students towards finding answers and developing their own strategies through practical activities, so that what they learn is easier to remember and, most importantly, apply in real-life situations.
My lessons are personalised to your goals, level and learning style. Whether you are preparing for a Cambridge exam or looking to improve your General English, we will work on the skills you need most, while developing your confidence in using English independently.
I have extensive experience teaching English to children, teenagers and adults of all levels. I have worked as an ESOL lecturer, an EAL teacher at a prestigious boarding school in England for four years, and an EFL teacher in Italy in both private and public schools. I have taught students from beginner to advanced levels and have prepared many students for Cambridge examinations. My students have successfully passed their exams, with many achieving high grades and returning to study with me for their next level.
For Cambridge exam preparation, my aim is not simply to help you pass, but to help you achieve the highest grade you are capable of. We will develop your exam technique alongside the underlying language skills, so that you understand why particular strategies work and can apply them confidently.
I also have a First-Class LLB Law with Criminology (hons) degree and several years of experience in the legal sector, including assisting non-native English speakers. I hold a Level 5 TEFL/TESOL qualification and a CELTA (Pass A) from St Clare's, Oxford. I am currently studying an MSc in TESOL with a specialism in English for Academic Purposes at the University of St Andrews, as well as teach Cambridge Exam preparation classes at public and private schools in Italy.
Lessons are typically 50–60 minutes, depending on your needs and preferences.
Whether you are preparing for a Cambridge examination, improving your General English, or simply want to become a more confident and independent English speaker, I would love to help you reach your goals.
