About Verity
My name is Verity Marshall and I am a graduate of Cambridge University where I studied Archaeology, specialising in Egyptology. I am currently studying a Master's degree at University College London in Cultural Heritage Studies and am passionate about encouraging young people to be curious learners.
As a dyslexic individual I am aware of the extra help that students might need to push to the extra level and am eager to share my experience and knowledge with the next generation of students.

I am a flexible tutor who aims to cater to each individual student and their needs. These will be ascertained in an introductory session with the student to create the best study plan for them. My teaching methodology is fully adaptable and discussion, practice and constructive feedback. I aim to encourage students to participate as much as possible and for the work to feel collaborative and a safe place to explore new ideas and concepts together. The length of lessons can be adapted to meet the specific needs of the student, their age, the subject and other requirements but usually last around 60 minutes. I am DBS checked and have experience supporting students from year 7 onwards, offering lessons from GCSE to university preparation.
