About Jasmine
Hello, I’m Jasmine! I graduated with a 2:1 BA Hons in History from Cambridge and got an A* at A-Level, with an A in Religious Studies. Writing essays has been a key part of my academic life for the last few years and I’m looking to help out students that have the potential to write great essays and just need some extra support. I specialise in Medieval History, having done Angevins and the Crusades at A-Level and a lot of varied European Medieval History at University. I would be more than happy and capable to teach students who do other eras of history in their papers - writing a good essay hinges on writing style, not just content.
As for Religious Studies, I am happy to tutor students in all of the three topics - philosophy, theology or ethics, and can offer helpful essay-writing advice. Religious Studies is a highly argumentative A-Level, like History, and as such I have the written skills to help those struggling.

As someone who has excelled at history, I know exactly how to play their ‘game’. Essay writing at A-Level can be very confusing and students are often left unaware of how to improve, with advice sometimes being too vague. I’m here to help students with this issue, finding them a path forward. As well as this, I am more than happy to offer personal statement advice/analysis and mock interviews for anyone looking to get into Cambridge for History, and this can be discussed over email.
I have both a plethora of work from my History/Religious Studies A-Levels, having kept all my folders, essays and papers from my time in school. With these high-quality pieces of work, I am able to guide students towards a better writing style and improve their knowledge of course content.

As seen above hourly rates are £22, but my prices for mock interviews or personal statement reviews are different.
Mock interviews always last for over an hour, and in some cases I have had them last for over two. They require quite a lot of preparation, and so are priced at £50.
Personal statement reviews: £20.
