About Carl
I have taught drum kit and percussion to students aged 5-19 for the past 4 years. Drawing on performing experience in a variety of percussion competitions, as principal percussionist of numerous orchestras in Cambridge and London, and as a soloist in both cities. Students enjoy my lessons as my aim is to allow them to feel tangible progress is being made.

I am a percussionist with 12 years experience in performing, and 4 years experience in teaching percussion and drum kit. Drums and Percussion are the most theatrical of instruments, and I have enjoyed enthusing students in this art. I am also qualified in theory and music, having graduated with a double first from the University of Cambridge.
