About Katie
As a 21-year-old student, I have decided to start tutoring alongside my degree as I have a passion for academia which I hope I can instill in my tutees. I am a lively and light-hearted person and hope to be seen as a friend to all my students so they can always look forwards to lessons with me and hopefully learn to love what they are learning. I have given talks at my old sixth form about university admissions and hope that I can help people further with tutoring in this area, or for subject-specific tutoring. I have a full DBS check certifying that I can work with children.

Oxbridge applications can seem like an overwhelming process but I strongly believe anyone who is considering applying should really give it a go. For applications to scientific courses, I can offer mock interviews and help with admissions test prep, in particular, the NSAA. For other subjects, as well as for the sciences, I can offer assistance with personal statements. Whether you are a year away from applying and just want some pointers in the right direction for starting some university research, or if you are onto your third draft of your personal statement and want someone to double check you've included everything you need to, or anywhere in between, I can help with your application!

Katie tutored me in Chemistry, biology and maths during my GCSEs last year. She really helped me understand the content and took time going through things at my pace. I ended up with 7s and 8s which I don’t think I could’ve managed without her.
