About Simeon

I am a graduate from the University of Cambridge where I received an upper second degree in Philosophy. Before this I studied A levels in Maths, Philosophy, History and Music, where I got A*A*A*A respectively. I studied at the renowned King Edward VI Grammar School, and received school prizes for the highest marks in Philosophy, History and Music. My credentials, I hope, evidence the professional nature of my lessons. I also, however, believe that being a recent gradate I can make my lessons engaging and inspiring. I have diverse interests outside of Philosophy and know that these too will enhance my lessons and teaching style.

About the lesson

This being philosophy it is perhaps fitting that I will adopt a Socratic teaching method! I will aim to guide you and further both your understanding and interest in the subject area. My lesson times can vary depending on your needs, but I will always make the time - no matter how short - as useful as possible. My lessons are primarily targeted at A level students, but I will be more than happy to teach younger students who are in need of help. Most importantly, I want to make my lessons enjoyable and not boring (I've had many a teacher who have failed at this part!!) Do get in touch, Simeon.

Simeon tutored me for GCSE Maths and I went from a low 7 to a high 9 in the months leading up to my exam. He genuinely cares about the well-being of his tutees and will help you achieve your full potential through his aid and knowledge of the subject.
